In this mosque design, the site offers a profound duality that can be interpreted architecturally. On one side, the river and cemetery together evoke a sense of infinity, representing the eternal and transcendent nature of life, spirituality, and the afterlife. This infinite horizon could inspire a design that emphasizes openness, continuity, and an unobstructed flow, symbolizing the journey beyond this world. On the opposite side, the pond provides a defined boundary, offering a sense of containment and clarity. This can be seen as a reflection of the earthly realm, where the tangible and the defined coexist within the boundaries of human experience. Architecturally, this could translate into more grounded, structured forms that emphasize order, reflection, and the presence of the divine within the finite world. By integrating these two contrasting elements—one infinite, the other defined—the mosque can serve as a metaphorical bridge between the eternal and the temporal, the divine and the worldly, guiding worshippers through an architectural journey that mirrors the spiritual path.
